Braised Pork Meatballs

Ingredients
250g Ground pork
1/2 Small napa
1 Tomato
1 Small onion
1 Small carrot
2 Cloves garlic
1 Scallion
Marinade

2 tsp Soy sauce

1 tsp Rice alcohol

1 tsp Sesame oil

1/2 tsp Sugar

1/4 tsp Pepper salt
1 tsp Soy sauce
1/2 tsp Japanese soy sauce
1 tsp Rice Alcohol
1/2 tsp Hondashi

Steps

Chop napa and tomato into chunks. Minced scallion, garlic, onion, and carrot.

Mix the ground pork well with the marinade, scallion, garlic, onion, and egg.

Form the meat into meatballs and coat it with a light layer of sweet potato powder.

Use an air fryer (390℉/ 7 mins) or heat a pot with 2 inches oil over medium heat to brown the meatballs first. This step will help meatballs keep the round shape.

Heat another pot over medium heat. Add 300 ml of water, soy sauce, Japanese soy sauce, rice alcohol, and Hondashi. Then cover the bottom of the pot with napa and tomato, and place the meatballs over them. Slow stew it for 20 mins and it’s ready to serve!
