Sichuan Chili Sauce Chicken (Mouth-watering Chicken)

Ingredients 

2 Boneless chicken thighs

Marinade

  • 1 Scallion

  • 3 Cloves of garlic

  • 1 Minced chili

  • 2 tsp Sichuan peppercorn

  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar

  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce

  • 2 tsp Sesame oil

  • 2 tsp Chili oil

  • 2 tsp Sugar

1 Tbsp Crushed peanut

1 bunch of pea sprout

What You Need

Container/ bowl

Pan

Oil

Knife

Steps

  1. Mince scallion, garlic, and chili, then mix them with all the marinade ingredients.

  2. Boil water in a pot over high meat and broil the chicken until fully cooked.

  3. Cut the chicken into slices and mix with the pre-mixed sauce in a bowl.

  4. Chill the chicken in the fridge for 30 mins.

  5. Take the Sichuan pepper chicken out and garnish with pea sprouts and crushed peanuts. It’s ready to serve!
