Taiwanese Minced Pork Stew
Ingredients
Pork belly 300g
1 Small onion
3 Star Anise
3 Cloves garlic
1 Tbsp Fried onion
1 Tbsp Rice Alcohol
2 Tbsp Oyster sauce
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Crystal sugar

Steps

Mince the garlic and onion into small chunks. Boil the pork belly for 5 mins until the surface turns white. Take it out of the pot and mince the pork belly into small chunks or slices.

Heat light oil in a pot over medium heat. Stir-fry minced garlic and onion first, then add the minced pork belly to the pot.

Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice alcohol, and stir-fry until the pork is coated with color.

Add 300 ml of water, crystal sugar, star anise, and fried onion. Stew it over medium heat for 30 mins. It’s ready to serve!

Tips: Add boiled eggs, mushrooms, or other ingredients to the stew according to your personal preference.
