Traditional Taiwanese Pork Chop

2 Porkchop
5 Cloves garlic
1 Scallion
Marinade

1 tsp Sugar

2 tsp Rice Alcohol

6 tsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Sweet Potato Powder

Meat pounder/ Knife
Pan
Oil

Steps

Pound the pork chops with the back of a knife or a meat pounder to tenderize it.

Marinate pork chops with soy sauce, rice alcohol, sugar, scallions, and garlic for 15 min.

Dredge each side of the pork chops in sweet potato powder and let it sit a bit.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the pork chops till it turns golden brown. Drain the oil and cut it for plating. It’s ready to serve!
